Deskripsi Permasalahan :

Rumah tanaman akan didesain untuk memproduksi 1000 tanaman buah tomat.  Tiap bibit tomat yang ditanam di dalam rumah tanaman tersebut tersedia dalam bentuk polybag yang ukurannya 35 x 40 cm (penampang atasnya).   Kemudian bibit tomat tersebut ditata dalam rumah tanaman sesuai dengan jarak tanam yang diinginkan (jarak tanaman antar bedengan ± 100 cm dan jarak antar tanaman ± 50 cm). Tipe atap rumah tanaman yang digunakan adalah single-span Standard Peak Greenhouse. Bahan konstruksinya menggunakan kayu atau bambu dengan kasa plastik transparan. Ketinggian pohon tomat dapat mencapai 170 cm.

 

Permasalahan akan diselesaikan dengan menggunakan CAD (Computer Aided Design) menggunakan software AutoCAD.

ABSTRACT

 

          “Opak singkong” or “kecimpring” is one kind of crispy snack which was made from cassava, salt, and spices. Usually, it produced by home industries in rural or sub-urban area in mostly part of Indonesia. On its production process, there are several processing steps starting with cassava peeling process, grating, mixing, pressing or forming process, cooking, and ending with drying process which was taking very long production time.

       This project aim is to design and produce an equipment which can be modified the pressing or forming process and cooking process by using electrical device called MATRIX, so the process could be done more efficient on both of energy and production capacity. The device performance shows that the production capacity was increasing to more than 50% and the thickness of the snacks (product) can be easy to be adjusted based on the consumer request.
